The days are hectic than ever and while I try to jam writing blog during office's coffee break, I wonder how these changes are going to affect this space. I have got questions from PRs and a couple of readers that will I still blog? The answer is yes! Of course! Since, I was in the middle of moving, I had to skip Talking Tuesdays last couple of weeks but this blog and you readers have given me an identity that I am always grateful for... so rest assured, the blog will go on.

I have moved to my new place, big thanks to mom for handling everything with such finesse and not letting me worry for a single thing. I am still unpacking and settling down. The furniture has been bought, the AC has been ordered, the bed is arriving in a few hours and the fridge and drapes are due tomorrow. I guess I have everything covered and if all goes according to plan, you will soon be watching me talk on YouTube again!

This was all the recent update and now I gotta go. See you all very soon!

xoxo

This maxi dress fits me like a dream! The moment I tried it on, it was love at first sight. It hugs the body at all the right places and falls beautifully from the hips. Since, it's been raining continuously here, I paired the dress with a denim shirt using the tie-and-roll technique to make it more day appropriate but this dress got sexy on it's back! [Check out the back HERE!] The sheer fabric with long slits till the hem looks so much more chic and beautiful in person, I tell you! I am literally head over heels in love with this dress.

The clutch is a pleasure to the sore eyes. Perfect to brighten up a rainy/gloomy day which is all I want in this weather. The gold leather peeking from the artistic hollows of the neon yellow leather makes for a show-stopper piece. I know I am going to be carrying this a lot. I just know it!

Both these pieces when styled and accessorized the right way, can be very versatile. Giving a modern twist to the classic LBD, this dress has the perfect punch of sexy-ness oozing out of it with the high slits on both sides and the large keyhole back. A big hug to the lovely people at FashionAtClick.com for these masterpieces!

Combining two of my favorite trends, neon and monochrome turned out to be more fun that I had expected it to be. The monochrome trend has been doing rounds in the fashion world for quite a while now, but to add more interest and jazz to a monochrome outfit, what could be a better option than neons! A little color doesn't hurt anyone. The tank is so much more brighter in person, only if the camera could catch the true color of this summery piece.

This outfit is very comfortable and perfect for going out for some casual shopping on Sundays or for brunch with friends. A lot of you also go to the gyms in malls and this outfit can very multi-functional in that direction also. The leggings and tanks would be perfect for sweating it out and just put on the shirt as a cover-up, put your hair in a messy voluminous pony and the necklace to top it all off to perfection. Gyms in malls are no excuse to walk around in your tracksuit, girls! You never know, you might just run into your high-school crush in the mall while making your way out to the parking and I would take overdressed anyday over underdressed! Stay fab!

The Sophisticated Clown

Yes, you read it right. The sophisticated clown. That's what A thought I looked like when I stepped into his car that day. I was aware I looked different, I had tried to look different. Sometimes, all you need is a fresh change. You are not always sure if it's good or bad but you need to take risks to branch out of your comfort zone. I was particularly aiming for something new when I woke up that morning. I put in extra effort in my hair. And I personally feel, it turned out great. Who would have thought milkmaid braids could actually be pulled off on a trip to the mall. I didn't. But, I am happy I proved myself wrong.

The clown part is a reference to the pops of red against the almost monochrome outfit. It does look a little clownish, don't you think? But in a cool comfortable charming way. I like it.

I also opted out of wearing heels for the shoot. The whole point of this outfit was comfort, and let's face it, none of us has the guts or the feet to brave a whole day in the mall on our toes and pointy sticks, now do we? I once got a comment from a reader that wearing heels could have made the outfit look better, I agree. But, I am not going to abide by this insignificant rule anymore. I am not here to show you the perfect outfit, I am here to share my opinions and my style. Of course, heels can take the whole outfit to another level and I will do shoots with heels but mostly when I am actually wearing them.

The rage that these pants have become is not even funny. Well, maybe a little in the ha-ha-funny way as my sister likes to call them my jail pants. But ironically, it's the jail pants only that are omnipresent these days. You will see them in the mall, on the streets, in the stores, on instagram, everywhere! They have broken free and roaming all around the city! Correction: Globe!

I love these pants basically for 3 reasons:
1. The monochrome stripes are the trend of the season and these pants are as good as it gets! Just pair them with a black or white shirt and you have a perfect monochrome outfit.
2. They can not only be paired with blacks or certain colors but they can be paired with any color! They complement brights just as well they complement pastels. And looks super trendy ;)
3. Being vertical stripes, they give an illusion of slimmer and longer legs which let's face it, is every girl's dream.
