It's that time of the year again when you have to loosen your pockets and go shopping for the new season's key pieces. Fall has almost hit us and soon there's going to be more than just a little nip in the air. During this time, the stores get all flooded with soft knits, cozy jackets and what not and while I love talking about womenswear, I thought it would be fun to include the gentlemen of our lives as well! I can't say for everyone but the men of my house love to shop during Fall. While in Summer, they get to wear the basic shirt or t-shirt, Fall brings a whole platter of variety for them to experiment with. There are cardigans, sweatshirts, hoodies, jackets, leather jackets, pullovers, caps, scarves and the list goes on!
When we were given a chance to review the new menswear collection at the French Connection store, we readily accepted. We are already loyal customers of the brand and when one of your favorite brands asks you to come over, have a look at the collection and share your thoughts on the same, how can you not accept!
It was so easy to get distracted by the womenswear collection they had but I was determined about not ignoring the menswear section this time around and giving them the attention that they deserve. Have a look at the collection, the pictures speak louder than words:
Aman could hardly contain his happy after-shopping-smile! The new collection has knits, cardigans, chino pants, etc in myriad of colors. The knit material used for the cardigans and pullover are really soft, cozy and durable. The textures and color blocking are the highlights of the collection and the cozy shirts in tartan check print were my favorite.
