Alpana & Neeraj
The duo played with cuts, metals, sheer and structure. The garments had unique details and the peek-a-boo effect was very well taken care of. With color palette of darker hues like black, deep red, green, the metallic and sequin details stood out really well. Stellar show indeed!
RISHTA by Arjun Saluja
Arjun Saluja has always been a favourite at the fashion weeks. Unlike her sister, Kanika Saluja, who puts glam and rock her top priority, Arjun goes for a borderline goth and usually refrains from using bling in his garments. His collection is all about details, interesting cuts, zip details at unexpected yet productive places, dart cutouts and most of all prét.
Shantanu & Nikhil
The masters of drapes killed it with menswear this time with amazing fits, details and drapes. The styling was flawless with round glasses, top knots and draped gold chains. As much good as the womenswear were, we fell in love with the menswear collection. So so good!
Anju Modi
Anju Modi's collection was inspired from military and hence the whole show had a patriotic feel to it, with Rahman's Vande Mataram playing and the models marching on the ramp. Needless to say, the color palette mostly consisted of Military Green, Deep Reds and Mustard Yellows. The show was grand to say the least. The garments were fabulous, we particularly loved the embroidered jackets.
